What is kubb?

Kubb challenges 2006

These challenges are nothing official, it's a bunch of friends who meet, play kubb and drink beer a few times a year. Even absolute beginners are welcome and have good chances to get far in the tournament. Drinks and food are to be brought along by the participants (it's like gratis bratwurst). The tournaments only take place if the weather is nice.

The following events are planned in 2006 until now:

May 25th, 1pm, Schindlerpark, Zurich (Park close to the Kronenstrasse). Please check back for more information in a few days (as soon as the organiser, Chris, has delivered). Until now, he wasn't able to pick one of the many flyers he produced, so he sent two...

August 26th, time tba, in Erlinsbach, at Marco's pool. The great news is that the traditional kubb cup (a green and pink bowl) has been won by Brian and myself three times, so that it remains ours and will stay in our clubhouse. The even greater news is that a new cup will be available in Erlinsbach!
